Ethnography
Feb 27 2008, 9:44 PM EST I think that the Kaluli is a good representation of the Ticos. Like the Ticos, they live in the tropical rainforest. They rely on horticulture as a means of getting food necessary to live. They both hunt, fish, and grow food. The Ticos also live in small villages like the Kaluli. They are both very close with their family and friends. The men and women get along and help eachother during day to day activities. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Ethnography
Feb 28 2008, 1:57 AM EST The people of Kaluli live in the tropical rainforest much life the culture my group is creating. The Kaluli reside in a patrilocal village made up of men belonging to the lineages of several patrilineal clans, along with their wives, children, and other female relatives. I would not want this in our culture because I strongly believe that the society should be equal between the male and female side of the families, rather than solely the male.
