The Kocoum
The Kocoum dominate the temperate grasslands of the eastern continent. Their people stretch from coast to coast in nomadic foraging tribes. They focus on nuclear families and maintain an egalitarian political structure. They have many cultural qualities similar to The Cheyenne and Ojibwa. The Kocoum are very group oriented and most activities, recreation and cultural traditions focus on building the relationships between families or strengthening the group bond. They vast grasslands that they inhabit provide for a simplistic life with the animals and environment around them. This environment provides the buffalo and other animals as well as vegetation that the Kocoum depend on to survive. They are neighbored to the north by the Ssadab and to the south lie the Bagheera people. Trading within the group does occur, as well as with other cultures, each exchange is meant to reinforce or begin a relationship with someone else, in their egalitarian society, everyone is expected to have the group’s best interests in mind. This equal state of mind carries through to every aspect of their culture, including equality among men and women; both genders are respected and are seen as being very valuable parts of society. They teach their children through the great stories of the ancestors from which the egalitarian values of the culture are reinforced. These stories are passed down by the elders who are seen as knowledgeable and are greatly respected within the tribes. Marriages are arranged and monogomy is the most common type, although others do occur occasionally.
The Kocoum have a combined religiosity incorporating animism with monotheism. They believe in the one Great Spirit who provides for the people by giving the environment and animals to them. The boar is the sacred animal of the Kocoum and it is used in stories to represent the foundations of their culture and guide them. Every member goes through a vison quest period where they spend time away from the tribe to reflect and reach a level of selflessness which will eternally benefit the tribe. At this time they are also given their own animal spirit that helps them through life.

A refuge if forced to leave his country can find work in another and after working, can bring his earnings back to his home land.

There is a currency transfer if bringing money from a large country to a smaller one it can transfer into multiples or fractions of dollars depending on the industrial success of one country.

If a person is caught cheating to help his country financially or in any other way. His country will be punished. But illegal means have been very prosperous for countries and can help small ones rise to powerful countries.

When a country is challenged by another and there power is insuffenent they can receive help from a country but in exchange they must help the other country in the same way or another way to show there loyalty.

Hey everyone, I found this online book that you can download in .pdf format. It seems to have really good information. It's called Encyclopedia of the Great Plains Indians. Open this link.

http://www.ebookee.com/Encyclopedia-of-the-Great-Plains-Indians_172123.html

There will be a couple of paragraphs giving a brief summary of the book. At the bottom the the second paragraph you will see a link that says " http://depositfiles.com/files/5632332 " click it. Or just open this link up to start with. click the button that says free downloading. It may make you wait for a minute or so. Then click the download file button and choose where to save it. It will save in a compressed format that you can extract. If you encounter any problems let me know
