Koobecaf-Melissa WatsonThis is a featured page

Years after anthropologist Horace Minor discovered the North American culture of the Nacirema’s, a small Ygolonhcet based culture known as the “Koobecaf” was established in 2004 by Egelloc student, Mark Zuckerberg. Emerging from the world of Retupmoc’s and CP’s, the Koobecaf has established itself as one of the most prominent forms of communication and networking within the Nacirema culture.
First and foremost, gaining access to this social structure requires the use of a highly developed data device known as the Retupmoc. Here one will enter the Lautriv world of the Tenretni, where Koobecaf can be found. Gaining entrance can be done with the use of a Liame Sserdda, required to enter this complex and secretive society. Like any other civilization, the Koobecaf has established Selur and Seicilop to follow. Firstly, Nacerima’s under the age of thirteen are not allowed to join the Koobecaf network, and members are required to currently attend a Nacerima Egelloc or Loohcs Hgih. Secondly, Gninetaerht or Gagluv content could result in a member getting Dekcik Ffo—a punishment severely feared by the Koobecaf community. However, Gniklats other Koobecaf inhabitants remains acceptable and is still used as a form of entertainment although Snoitacilppas such as Sotohp, Spuorg, and Soediv are heavily favored and can be found within one’s Koobecaf Egap.
The Koobecaf Egap expresses the individuality and personality of each Koobecaf member, by allowing specially designed Egap’s known as Seliforps to distinguish their personal traits by providing personal information such as Nwotemohs, Yadhtrib’s, and Cisum preferences, among others. Other Snoitacilppas like Spuorgs allow members to share interests with other Koobecaf affiliates, while things such as the Sutats can provide up to the minute information about people in the Koobecaf community.
All members within this society are provided equally fair opportunities to establish themselves within this culture. Easily found means of communication in places like the Xobni where one can compose Segassems or within the Tahc where Nacerima’s can instantly communicate between members allows freedom of speech and an openness for needed interaction. This interaction can at times seem imperative, with over 90 million active inhabitants, increasing distance from the Lautriv world can often leave one feeling disconnected from the rest of the Nacerima society.
What I find most astonishing after spending four years within this trendy up-to-the-minute society remains the core values this superstructure stands on. The daily rituals that take place such as the “Qseuqer Dneirf” or the “Ekop” help define the attitude a Koobecaf individual will hold that day. As Horace Minor discovered when he first examined the Nacerima’s, a person’s image can define where they stand in this culture. Koobecaf exists as another outlet for Nacerima inhabitants to flaunt their lifestyles or captivating looks, while it can keep others with fewer friends and less popularity.
Emerging as the new form of communication within the Nacerima culture, the Koobecaf has established itself as the newest approachable culture. As the society of the Nacerima changes over time, the Koobecaf will undoubtedly form to the needs of the Nacerimans to ensure stable networking outlets throughout time.
