Presently, Koobecaf seems to be forming as a subculture in America. While all rekoobecafs are American, they also unite and share Koobecaf’s customs. Thanks to America’s technological infrastructure, millions of people have access to electronics and internet and have therefore joined Koobecaf and its ways of networking, communicating, sharing pictures and opinions, and much more.

Koobecaf is similar to a community. Each rekoobecaf has their own eliforp in which they can depict themselves and create an individualistic being. This freedom and variety of expression follows America’s social structure’s trends. Rekoobecafs fill their eliforps with interests; religious views; relationship status; favorites books, movies, and music, quotes; an about me section; applications; and other means of expression. This depicted entity does not always match the real-life individual; descriptions show the individual’s best side, not their flaws. Individualism is a large part of America’s superstructure. Ritually, each time a rekoobecaf logs onto the subculture, Koobecaf informs them of the most current happenings of fellow rekoobecafs’ social lives in a deefswen – this couple broke up, pictures from the past weekend are posted, it is someone’s birthday, etc. This follows America’s obsession with the latest gossip in news and magazines; the connectedness also falls into America’s social structure. Historical documents of communication are created in secret gingassems or public tsops llaw. Etons, another form of documentation, can also be created to further express oneself. It even comes with its own language – from “lol” and “jk” to “facebook official”. Even though it can be detrimental to real-life one-on-one communication and speech skills, some now use Koobecaf as their main means of conversing with others. Some people are even Koobecaf worshipers, ones who check their eliforps for long periods of time or multiple times daily.

But, what has made Koobecaf so popular? Like mentioned earlier, connectedness and individuality are two main ideals in America’s superstructure. Koobecaf thrives on these ideals. Americans and rekoobecafs are almost obsessed with the latest gossip. While no one wants their own privacy overly invaded, they enjoy being involved in others’. Status among rekoobecafs is based on who has the most friends and who knows the most about others’ social lives. This idea is why rekoobecafs describe only good qualities in their eliforps; they protect their private flaws and want others to like them. They want to become more popular. More and more people hear others speaking of Koobecaf and want to feel included, so they too join the growing subculture – instant Koobecaf popularity.

Many wonder, with such success, how long will the Koobecaf subculture last? Will it continue growing in popularity or will it come to an end? Recently changing the Koobecaf layout definitely has not benefited it; many experienced rekoobecafs are very upset. But, to newcomers, there has never been a change. And, is this new layout not the same as the introduction and updating of electronics in American culture? Older people get upset with the new, abnormal changes in technology, but they adapt. Younger people do not even know the difference. It is possible that Koobecaf could loose popularity if a better website comes along. Only time can determine Koobecaf’s outcome. Until then, the rekoobecafs will continue networking and sharing Koobecaf’s customs.
