This Inuit woman is carrying her baby on her back,
the traditional Inuit way to carry a baby.

I'm a bit curious about how we are to handle concepts that have arisen out of contact with outside cultures. As ours is in the arctic region and most contact hasn't occurred yet at the outset of the simulation. How are we to know the outcomes and impacts of current technology on our landscape or Western concepts of Monogamy. I find it difficult to accept certain concepts. It is common in many small social groups for monogamy to be the exception and not the norm... imagine if you will you only have an dis-proportionate number of females vs males. What do we ask the females who don't have a partner to do if they want a child? Or the other way around, should we force males into masturbatory tendencies or homosexuality in order to curb their urges for partnership and intimacy? I find these things are legitimate topics and we shouldn't be so quick to accept the pressures and current influences of western cultures on our own, in the examples we have today. I suggest looking back through your ethnography and double check where you may have accepted the adulteration/poisoning of arctic cultures by westerner concepts as the way we should construct our own culture. Western culture is notorious for destroying other cultures values and belief systems... try to find our roots.
