You can receive up to 20 points extra credit in this course.

There will be several opportunities for extra credit: mostly movies, documentaries, and special events.

Each extra credit assignment is worth up to 5 points (if it is thoughtful and well-written). Write 500 words using what you have learned in the class to analyze, critique, or reflect on the movie, documentary or special event.

Since you may receive up to 20 points, this may be 4 excellent papers (worth 5 points each), or 5 good papers (worth 4 points each), or even 7 average papers (worth 3 points each).

Send your extra credit assignments to your TA when they are complete.
