Evanave

The culture of Evanave has many aspects to it, which all are intertwined. It starts with the Mediterranean climate which makes it possible for a great variety of crops to grow in Evanave. It is also by the coast which brings in fish and the ability to trade with outside countries. The fact that Evanave can trade with other cultures, gives them a great sense of nationalism that promotes them to better their society as a whole. The society works together with a sense of equality to improve. Although Evanave has social classes, they believe that all people are equal and should be treated as such. This is reflected in the main religion, The Path of T-Cupia, which promotes equality and the morals that will better a society. The morals of this monotheistic religion are be kind, don't cheat, violence is unnacceptable, equality in gender, and a sense of inidividualism. These morals are the same morals that all Evanaves hold. In fact equality, kindness and acceptance are so important to Evanaves that they are accepting of all religions as long as they are not harmful to others.

It is extremely important to note the values of Evanave to gain a complete understanding of their unique culture. While Evanaves believe in equality, they believe individualism is key to bettering the society as a whole. If each person tries to promote their own self gain without hurting others, then the entire society gains. This makes Evanave a very advanced culture, which shows in their many forms of art. To humble themselves, they have legends which remind them not to be too greedy. Along with individualism, equality, especially in gender, is very important. This is reflected in the family structure in Evanave. Marriages are arranged without a bride price or dowry because men and women are equally important. Men and women are both equally rightful of the choice to work or stay at home and raise kids. Family terminology reflects the equality of genders because the terms for male and female counterparts in the family are non-existent. For example they mother and father are called by the same term. While men and women are equal in the family, Evanaves practice patrilineal descent to make things more organized.
