Evanave Political Organization
Evanave is a highly unique culture, with the ability to be very influential on other cultures in the world. These opportunities are especially prominent for this area because of the environment.
Evanave’s climate allows this society to produce goods for food, energy, etc. for themselves with a great abundance used for exports. Evanave has control over a large sea coast area which enables them to trade and interact with other nations.
In Evanave there is a centralized form of political organization. Usually in this type of society there is a higher population, greater use of technology and over all, more growth opportunities as a nation. Another trait often associated with centralization is having one single ruler. However, to divide the power and not allow one person to have complete control, Evanave has a council. The members on this council are responsible for creating laws, and making decisions on all important issues that come before Evanave, including punishment for the wrong doings of citizens. It is considered a great honor to serve as a member on this council. This council has many members and one chief. The chief is simply a trusting member of the council that
has the responsibility of communicating decisions made by the council. This is done for the sole purpose of avoiding miscommunication and having one spokesperson when collaborating with outsiders. Only in extreme or emergency situations would he or she be allowed to make decisions without first consulting the other members. Otherwise this chief is in equal power with the rest of the members. Each division of Evanave gets to elect the council member they wish to represent their area. The people vote for someone that has their best interest at heart and one who will express the needs of that specific division. Divisions are broken up by areas you live on the map of Evanave. When deciding on the borders of the district lines many things are taken into account. For instance, the number of people in the area to try and keep equal representation. Also, districts try to keep the sizes as close to the same size. This is done because one area of the country might have different *Council* beliefs on issues than another part. So keeping the districts the same size in area and population helps with fair representation. However, there are certain restrictions on who can vote. Only those that make some sort of positive contribution to society are permitted one vote. Since the people of Evanave strongly believe in gender equality, it would not be considered discriminatory if th
ere was one more man on the council than women, or vice versa. It is common knowledge that the ability to perform a duty has nothing to do with gender. It is clear through looking at Evanaves political organization how it is directly related to other components that make up this culture. Since unity is such a big part of Evanave and of our policical system it is very important for everyone to work together. In order for us to keep that unity we must look out for the good of our entire society, not only for the good of ourselves.
