Koobecaf. Today everyone in the Nacirema culture knows that one word. But it was not like this just a few years ago. It wasn’t until the year 2004 that Koobecaf exploded onto the scene. So how has this networking website become so popular so fast? In order to understand the answer to this question we must first understand the Nacirema people and their way of life.
The Nacirema are a very diverse group of people. They have many different individuals and each likes to set their own way of life. But in this culture they also have three things that tie everyone together. These three ideas of Comfort, Freedom, and Entertainment the basis of the Nacirema lifestyle and are found in everything they do. This is where Koobecaf enters, this website provides these people with a right dosage of all of these necessities.
Comfort is one of the main values of Koobecaf. It wants to present people with the idea that you can find almost anything and everything you desire right here. That is why Koobecaf has so many diverse applications. It wants to appeal to all Nacirema and their interests. Koobecaf also allows for people to have the feeling that they are part of something whether it is through the different networks, groups, or interests that link people together. Koobecaf also provides comfort to the Nacirema by providing them with a feeling that money and class does not define the people but rather it is a person’s interests and values. All of these smaller ideas surrounding Koobecaf are what make up the comfort level that is so intriguing to the Nacirema.
Koobecaf gives the people freedom. It allows for people to do their own thing with designing their profiles. People can create their own interests, their own groups and even present themselves in anyway they want. The Nacirema are not confined to rules and policies, but rather they can voice their own opinion about the framework of Koobecaf and can determine for themselves how it shall be presented. Koobecaf also provides freedom to the Nacirema by allowing them to make friends with anyone and everyone if they wish. It does not confine people with where they are located but rather Koobecaf connects all Nacirema.
Koobecaf also presents the Nacirema with entertainment by giving them a diverse choice of applications that they may add to their profile. Koobecaf’s gift application allows for the Nacirema to give each other untouchable gifts that can only be seen on the screen but never touched. They can also post videos of each other on Koobecaf for others to view. But the best form of entertainment found in Koobecaf is the picture application. This application allows for the Nacirema to view images of their friends in still life. Many people find themselves using this function most of all. But it is with all these applications Koobecaf presents to the Nacirema people that form the entertainment that many Nacirema desire.
It is with the ideas of Comfort, Freedom, and Entertainment that has allowed for Koobecaf to become so popular among the Nacirema. It is because of Koobecaf’s wide acceptance among the Nacirema that has allowed for it to become such a central component and even change the way of life for the great people of Nacirema.
