Brief History - Fall 2008
List battles, colonization, occupations, rebellions, alliances, and other major events below in the proper round:
Round 1:
Reab Rewop was colonized first by Evanave, but an alliance was formed with Slamma Jamma and Reab Rewop asked them to challenge Evanave. Slamma Jamma took over the colony and fed them.
The Yehsreh formed a trading alliance with the Shish-Kabobs and also traded with the nearby cultures, the Detinu and Giraffles, and was not colonized.
Freezenzeearsoff was colonized by Wilownya. After failed attempts at independence, Freezenzeearsoff began working for Wilownya.
Halibutt was persuaded into being colonized by Evanave by the use of softpower. We made a verbal alliance which said that as long as Evanave was trading with others they would continue to trade with us. We traded a little with Wilownya. By the end of the round we were put to work producing cotton for Evanave.
Slamma Jamma form an alliance with the Ssadab, based upon mutual co-existence and support.
Round 5: Round 1:
Mekka' is colonized by Wilownya. Don't make us work and they do not find our natural resources. All survive.
The Giraffles could not feed two people in their tribe and they left to join the neighboring Snaginanehs.
Phanat Nikhom succeeded in feeding themselves.
Evanave colonizes Halibutt and Detinu.
A*wheemo got colonized by Slamma and they fed us. A*wheemo gave fruitloops and traded cards with Slamma.
The Kocoum formed alliances with the Bagheera and the Phanat Nikhom. They had enough food to sustain their population as well as take on refugees.
Evanave exchanges technololgy with Detinu for natural resources.
One member of Detinu is killed by Evanave for protecting the Detinu camel/natural resource. Five other members are killed in a natural disaster and become refugees of the Evanave.
Shish-Kabobs made alliances with the Yehsreh and the neighboring mid location islands. Had enough food to feed the people and take on refugees.

Evanave colonizes Shish Kabob, which begins a long and hostile relationship between the two states.
The Reab Rewop had a natural disaster and three people were forced to leave for the round. Evanave came back and kicked out Slamma and forced Reabs to make fruit loop necklaces. The Reabs tried to revolt but were not successful.
The Yehsreh formed an alliance with the Giraffles and continued to trade with also the Detinu and Shish-Kabobs. They experienced a lack of resources near the end of the round and, as a result, 4 died of starvation.
Freezenzeearsoff continued work for Wilownya by making fruitloop neclaces.
The Halibutt was devastated by a natural disaster which left our land being able to support only 15 of us. Being a tribe of eighteen we sent three over to Evanave to become servants, since they were our colonizers it was a smart choice and easy decision. We traded with Freezinzeearsoff because we were running out of food. Evanave came and took our food production and put us to work making necklaces. We were now dependent of Evanave to feed us.
An epidemic kills 90% of the Ssadab population, refugees are sent to Slamma Jamma and sent back to Ssadab land to grow cotton. Ssadab and Slamma Jamma remain in alliance, Ssadab is still uncolonized.
Boogobbleho remains steady in feeding themselves.
Round 2b (3rd round of day one):
The Giraffles were colonized by Wilownya and were forced to sort fruit loops into bags based on color. Wilownya is feeding us for our efforts but only if we sort enough fruit loops.
After world disasters Phanat Nikhom closely survived and fed all tribe members.
At the last minute The Bagheera were colonized by Peekaboo.
The three people who had to leave because of the natural disaster returned to Reab Rewop. Made fruit loop necklaces.
Slamma took over Boogobbleho and used labor force to begin making fruitloop necklaces.
Slamma Jamma send a "protector" to the Ssadab, loosely colonizing them.
Peek-a-boo tried to overtake Ssadab from Slamma Jamma. However, after a short success the Slamma Jamma declared war and won back the Ssadab.
Both Peek-a-boo and Slamma agree to a spoken alliance with each other.
The Kocoum were colonized by Peek-a-boo.
The Yehsreh continued to trade with their alliances, the Giraffles, Detinue, and Shish-Kabobs, however 4 members died of starvation. Still remained uncolonized.
Tension increased between Freezenzeearsoff and Wilownya as they tore into Freezenzeearsoff's natural resource and took it.
The Halibutt still continued to produce necklaces for Evanave while they gave us food to survive on.
Boogobbleho is colonized by Slamma Jamma and forced to make fruitloop necklaces.
After successfully colonizing Kocoum, Mekka, and Bagera, Peek-a-boo fed everyone including workers.
The Yehsreh fulfilled their need for food and, near the very end of the round, were colonized by the Evanave culture, making the Yehsreh the last non-industrial culture to be colonized!
Round 3:
Mekka' is still colonized by Peek-a-boo. Mekka' conspires with Shishkabob to discover Peek-a-boo's power in order to gain independence. Mekka' revolts, but is defeated...horrendously. Peek-a-boo tries to appear nice, but mentions genocide...we are nervous. All Mekka'ns survive.
Phanat Nikhom greatly provided food for themselves and yet again survived untouched!
A*wheemo is gaining a little bit more power, but we don't exercise it, still colonized by Slamma.
Bahgheeras worked coco-puffs for Peekaboo and were fed.
Because of population increase Reab Rewop gained more hard power. Evanave was replaced by Wilownya as colonizers. Wilownya fed Reabs. Reabs took back the power circle after Wilownya stepped out.
The crops that Wilownya has forced the Giraffles make have failed and all the supplies that were used were lost.
At the start of the round the Giraffles was shocked with war as the Slamma came and took over from Wilownya, then Wilownya came back and took the land back from them. Through all the confusion the people of the Giraffles had a plan to get their freedom and it would cost their colinizers greatly.
Slamma colonize Giraffles but lost them back to Wilownya shortly. Wilownya begins an attempt to take over all of Slamma's colonies. Not very successful.
At end of round, SLAMMAS are in the lead!!!!
Giraffles are still colonized by Wilownya and learned that the fruit loop crops were not successful in our homelad, so we made fruit loop necklaces with fruit loops sorted else where and yarn cut elsewhere. Our colonization was taken over by Slamma and won over once again by Wilownya. Wilownya fed our people and we all survived
The Kocoum produced coco puffs, colonized by Peek-a-boo.
Freezenzeearsoff was re-colonized by Peek-A-Boos after they beat Wilownya in war. But Wilownya quickly took back over Freezenzeearsoff.
The Halibutt continuing to live off of Cheerios and producing necklaces for our colonizers Evanave. We decided to Marry into our colonizers. With this family tie we will have merged the two cultures. So if Evanave is unable to feed us and one of us die, one of Evanave will die also.
Ssadab continue to grow cotton for the Slamma Jammas and remain peaceful under a loose colonization based mostly upon soft power.
Peek-a-boo colonizes Freezinzeearsoff and has them make fruit loop necklaces. We tell Mekka to sort fruit loops or there will be punishment, three members of Mekka die. Again we feed everyone.
Boogobbleho continues to work for Slamma Jamma.
Round 4:
Peek-a-boo becomes more cruel, work or you don't eat. Force Kocoum to spend whole round laboring with cocoa puffs. Peek-a-boo discovers Mekka's natural resources. Peek-a-boo is overthrown by Wilownya.
Shishkabob, Mekka', and A*wheemo negotiate with Wilownya: Mekka'n freedom in exchange we overproduce resources and exclusively trade with Wilownya.
Wilownya refuses deal. Mekka' harvests fruit loops.
Evanave loses Shish Kabob and Detinu to rebellion. Both states claim land back.
The Peek-a-boo and Slamma make another alliance in which Peek-a-boo received 7 pieces of string. Bagera decides to try to take back there land and are successful for only a few moments. The Peek-a-boo return and commit genocide. Peek-a-boo also losses Freezinzeearsoff at the end of the round.
Yesreh and Detinu are taken over by Evanave again.
Halibutt remains the only peaceful colony controlled by the Evanave.
Wilownya took over Phanat Nikhom with great power and did absolutely NOTHING with Phanat Nikhom. No Labor/NOTHING!
Evanave and Willownya form alliance.
A*wheemo gained enough power to overtake Slamma and some fruit loops and money.
Bagheera's land no longer viable, peekaboos abandoned Bagheera's land and took their people to their own land where the peekaboo's turned tyrants and refused to feed the refugees.
Reab Rewop was colonized by Evanave but Evanave stepped out of power circle so Reabs took control again. Traded fruit loops left by Wilownya for cheerios so everyone was able to survive.
Freezinzeearsoff and Phanat Nikhom both seek help from Slamma for food and protection from Wilownya and Evanave.
Giraffles continued colonization by Wilownya. Thier colonization got ugly, making a quota of 6 fruit loop necklaces or we wouldn't be fed. The Giraffles were able to hide the other necklaces in their huts, but were still very secrative where not even some of their own people knew about it.
The Kocoum rebel and gain independence from Peek-a-boo, but shortly after Peek-a-boo returns and the Kocoum surrender without a fight. Overhear the Peek-a-boo say if Kocoum rebel again, there will be a genocide of their people.
Yehsreh rebels against the Evanave and reclaimes land near the beginning. Towards the middle, Evanave takes over once again, but not too soon afterwards, the Yehsreh take back land. Then, they were able to trade their luxury goods (cocoa puffs) for cheerios in order to feed everyone. The Evanave, once again, recolonizes the Yehsreh and takes over their natural resources.
Freezenzeearsoff began plots of rebellion but little was done. As they worked for Wilownya, they began pocketing cocoa-puffs in hope of blackmarketing them for food.
The Halibutt is still dependent on food from Evanave. With necklace production at its peak we still remain a peaceful colony.
Peek-A-Boo attempt to overtake Ssadab again, are once again defeated by the Slamma Jammas.
The Ssadab remain peaceful and coexhist with the Slamma Jamma despite an increase in hardpower which could have allowed them to rebel.Boogobbleho challenges Slamma Jamma and beats Slamma Jamma with a Jack restoring our freedom for awhile. Slamma Jamma came back with a Queen to overtake us once again. We continued to make fruitloop necklaces with limited supplies.
Peek-a-boo began making fruit loop necklaces. Everyone survives.
Round 2:
A natural disaster forces 5 members of Mekka' to leave the island. Peek-a-boo defeats Wilownya and takes over the island. Makes us work, Mekka's are not pleased. All survive, despite initial fears that Peek-a-boo will not feed us.
Mekka attempts to go to other cultures to ask for help, including Slammas.
The Giraffles are one of the last free countries in the area that we live. The main talk throughout the tribes is to find someone to make an alliance with. The Giraffles experienced a natural disaster and lost two people to represent casualties.
Yet again Phanat Nikhom succeeded in feeding themselves and even had extra food.
A*wheemo began to work for Slamma harvesting fruit loops and they fed and protected us.

Peek-a-boo attempts to make us create neckalces, but upon discovering that Mekka' cannot make the necklaces, they don't make us do work. Says one colonizer, "We are the worst colonizers ever!" All survive.

Raeb Rewop successfully took back their land when Evanave failed to stay in the power circle. They also left their fruit loops, which Raeb Rewop used to trade for food and cards of a different suit.
Wilownya forces Mekka' to harvest fruit loops. After filling several bags with fruit loops, Mekka' refuses to work and issues an ultimatum: give Mekka' freedom or we will go to refugee camps and tell everyone that Wilownya is mean. Wilownya is defiant and refuses to move in the face of our most harsh criticism...also, they take the fruit loops that Mekka' had already bagged. Evanave frees Mekka' under conditions of exclusive trade rights. Shishkabob gives Mekka' a gift of yarn to help restart the crumbling Mekka'n economy.
Wilownya still did NOTHING with the power of Phanat Nikhom as in working or slavery. 5 minutes before the end of round 5 Wilownya realized it was pointless to take over Phanat Nikhom and just decided to kill them all off. Phanat Nikhom was surviving greatly on their own until the colonizers Wilownya took over with force and basically killed off a tribe that could have had great importance to the world on their own. :( It was a complete waste of power for the Wilownya to take over Phanat Nikhom. If the ground wasn't dirt and mulch, I'm guessing that Phanat Nikhom would have had sat down and done nothing the entire day.
The Snaginanehs took over Peekaboo in the last round.
The Peek-a-boo go in search of natural resources but are unsuccessful. We decide to not use the land of Bagera that we had taken over.
War breaks out in the Girrafles land and they are taken over by Evanave. the land and many sacred things to us was destroyed in the finding of a natural resource. With the necklaces that we had hidden away from the Willownya we were able to work out a peace treaty and be fed for making necklaces and exporting them to Evanave. we were able to be free and govern ourselves. we were able to get what we wanted all along with the hard work and determination of the Girrafle people. (well i guess we did kinda go behind their backs but we did what we had to do to survive and be free.)
Evanave needs to form a peaceful alliance with someone and gain much needed necklaces and the Giraffles are willing to form this alliance after receiving harsh treatment from Willownya. Giraffles are wanting to be a free state rather than being colonized and Evanave agrees to protect them for use of their abundance of fruit loop necklaces. Evanave succeeded in freeing the islands and claiming their natural resources before the world ended.
A*wheemo had the yellow card, and we were attempting to help free the other islanders, but did not succeed. Still independent, pay Slamma for food and necklaces.
The kocoum overthrew the Peek-a-boo on the Peek-a-boo's own land and traded cocoa-puffs with Shishkabob for food.
Bagheera's refugees left Peekaboo and surrendered to the Wilownya who treated fed them and had them make fruit loop necklaces. They also sent us to a vacant land to work and live.
Reab Rewop traded two fruit loop necklaces for cheerios with Slamma and finished with all people surviving and no colonizer.
A*Wheemo ended up being An EXTREME hard power (we got a Queen at the end) we had over 50 million people, we had fruitloops and string, money in our pockets, and we WERE gettin ready to make a deal with Evanave to set the world to world peace.
Halibutt gained independence and Slammas helped protect and feed them. Reab Rewop traded two fruit loop necklaces for cheerios with Slamma and finished with all people surviving and no colonizer.

Boogobbleho refused to work for Slamma Jamma. They picked up and left our land as we chose to die. We attempted to trade our money for Cheerios, but we were unsuccessful.
