A*Wheemo
Environment
There is much rain here, with tropical fruits to harvest and rice to grow.
Not many animals inhabit the island, but those that do are a sacred food to the A*Wheemians.
Subsistence and Exchange
A*Wheemians are a gift exchange culture. They strive to build
relationships with people and believe in equality for all.
The men are primarily fishing, and the women work in the rice fields.
The children forage for fruit and the
elderly are in charge of distribution of food.
Language and Gender
The language in A*Wheemo features many unusual clicking noises made by the tongue and roof of the mouth.
While dress is very modest and simple. Everyone is considered equal, no one is higher than
another, and the elderly take care of children.
Sex, Love and Marriage
Very centered around the sacred number 12, the A*Wheemians are monogamous and will never divorce or marry another if a spouse dies, the formal mourning process is 12 days long, but they will remember their one true love forever. They are sexually active on days
in multiples of 12.
Family and Household
Families live in tree houses to escape the frequent flooding of A*Wheemo. The A*Wheemian people have many ceremonies celebrating Gods and the ascension of children to womanhood or manhood.
Kinship and Social Order
There is a recognized need that men are more able to do hard work, and women are more suited for working in the fields, no one is discriminated against. People in A*Wheemo marry for love, which is the most sacred A*Wheemian value.
Elders are sought upon to represent their village. Problems are brought before a wise council of volunteers.
Religion
There are 12 Gods in the A*Wheemian pantheon, with the God of Love being the highest power.
Art and Cultural Values
The A*wheemians have many rituals and dances, all centered around loving one another and praising their 12 Gods. They devote their artistic ability to freedom, beauty, truth, and above all, love.
Technology
Game Rules

A*Wheemo is nestled away in the tropical islands where flooding is common. For this reason the main subsistence consists of rice fields and fishing off the coast. Love is the one most important cultural value of the people of A*Wheemo, and they live in an egalitarian society. Elders are chosen from each village to organize society, and people go to them to help suggest solutions or offer viewpoints or ideals on problems plaguing the society.
Men and women alike have the same status, and the elders have the most respect out of everyone on A*Wheemo. The people of A*Wheemo live in tree houses and perform ceremonies for their children when they become of age to work and get married.
The number 12 is sacred to the A*Wheemian people and they strive to do most everything in multiples of the number.
